Primary Coordinator Message

I would like to welcome back all our families to the 2017 academic year and extend a big welcome to our new families who have enrolled their children at the Ibrahim Dellal Campus. We are delighted to have met you and proud to say you are part of our growing family. My name is Ms Ozlem Coskun I am the form group teacher of 5A and I will be the Grade Five Literacy teacher. I am also the Primary and Upper Primary Coordinator. I am really looking forward to a fantastic year.

I would like to welcome all our staff back at Ibrahim Dellal Campus and introduce our new staff members: Welcome to Mrs Neslihan Kirazli, Ms Meryem Yuksel, Mr Ahmad Mostafa, Ms Erin Wyatt, Ms Seren Coskundag, Mr Tufan Comurtay, Ms Cerys Lim, Mr Unal Kiyar and returning back from maternity leave Mrs Hilal Kuyruk. We hope you all feel like you are at home.

We have started Term One and got into the swing of things quickly. There are a lot of events coming up:

We have had our School Photo Day
‘Welcome back’ Breakfast for all staff
All our primary students attained their First Aid Certificates from St John Ambulance
We participated in Clean up Australia Day
Celebrated International Women’s Day
Enjoyed a day with our Better Buddies at our school picnic.

All of our teachers have been planning and organising engaging lessons, incursions and excursions. We encourage our parents to visit our Facebook and Twitter page for updates on school activities and classroom updates.

Our school has implemented a new culture that we all take part in actively. ‘DEAR Drop Everything And Read’ @ 11.30am-11.45am daily. It is an excellent program that we will all benefit from. All staff and students read at this time. We are enjoying it as a whole school.
